Team members of O’Brien Marketing had a relationship with Infinity Insurance through partnerships in the sports and entertainment industry. O’Brien Marketing observed their sports sponsorship portfolio and targeted Hispanic media placement and felt they were missing the mark.  These opinions were communicated to Infinity Insurance and they consequently showed interest in pursuing the missed opportunities they could be garnering.


In 2008, Infinity Insurance set aside a nominal advertising budget to allow O’Brien Marketing to showcase what they were able to do for one quarter.  Based on the “test run”, Infinity Insurance experienced such a jump in their business, that O’Brien has been a significant part of their media placement plans ever since.


One year later, Infinity Insurance’s advertising spend via O’Brien Marketing has grown ten times as together they continue to reach a broader audience and create a more lucrative business with in the highly competitive insurance industry.  In addition to media planning and buying, O’Brien has created an expansive affinity program linking high profile companies and entertainment properties such as Jiffy Lube and the San Diego Zoo to Infinity Insurance. O’Brien has also assisted in making Infinity Insurance one of the most community focused Insurance companies by leveraging media buys for van hits, live remotes, community events and concerts. Today, Infinity Insurance insures 8 out of 10 people in most Hispanic centric zip codes in Southern California. They also continue to grow their business in major urban markets around the country.
