C. Patrick O’Brien – CEO
C. Patrick O’Brien is the premiere media buyer and sports marketer in the greater Los Angeles and Orange County area and is the CEO of O’Brien Marketing. Using his 25 years of experience, O’Brien has aided the growth of brands using creative negotiation, extensive market research, execution and implementation. Prior to founding O’Brien Marketing, he served as the Vice President of Sales at AEG and was the Director of Sports Sales at KFWB.
At KFWB, O'Brien fulfilled a lifelong dream of working with the Dodgers, leading advertising sales for the Dodger Radio Network and NFL Sunday and Monday Night Football programs. As part of AEG, he secured sponsors for STAPLES Center and The Home Depot Center, as well as the Lakers, Kings, Avengers, and MLS teams. He was nominated twice for the 40 under 40 Sports Business Journal award, then left in 2007 to start O'Brien Marketing and help brands like LA Care, Pacific Coast Termite, MLS, See Jane Go, D-Link, and Herbalife grow.
He is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles. He resides in Newport Beach, CA with his wife, Shelley– children Hannah, Jack, Maggie, and Caroline, and grandchildren - Alex, Benedict, Peter, and Audrey.
Dondi Kingsbury, Executive Vice President
As Executive Vice President of O’Brien Marketing, Dondi Kingsbury uses her 19-years of experience to cultivate new business and develop relationships to help brands grow. Prior to her position at O’Brien Marketing, Kingsbury worked with O’Brien as the Director of Corporate Partnerships at AEG.
Kingsbury began her sports career in corporate relations with FC Dallas of Major League Soccer. In 2001, she was hired by AEG to manage corporate partnerships and marketing.
Upon being promoted to Director, Kingsbury generated and managed over $50 million in revenue for properties including the LA Kings, STAPLES Center, Home Depot Center, LA Galaxy, Houston Dynamo, Chicago Fire, Mexican National Team, Amgen Tour of California, International Cycling, Tennis, and premier international soccer franchises such as Real Madrid, Chelsea FC, and AC Milan.
Kingsbury is a graduate of University of Texas, Austin and resides with her husband Brian and children Sienna and Remi.
Peter Rogers, COO
Peter is a highly regarded, business minded, financial professional with over 35 years of diversified experience in the US and Europe. Rogers started his professional career with the International Top 4 accounting firm, KPMG, gaining experience in a wide variety of industries.
Peter can assist businesses in the following areas: Strategic Planning, Expansion strategies, Mergers and acquisitions strategies, Exit strategies, Bank CPA Insurance and Attorney Relationships, Operational reviews, Business Process Improvement, Business analytics models and KPI's, Margin Improvements Inventory Reductions and Cost Reductions, Internal Control and Staff Development, Timely financial reporting, Train accounting and finance staff to achieve excellence, Risk Management Legal Liability and Contract Review, Succession Planning, and Change Management.
Peter received a masters from Oxford University and successfully completed the Advanced Management Program at Duke. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant and is a now Fellow Of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is married with 2 children and lives in Pacific Palisades, California.
Shelley O'Brien, CFO
Shelley is an experienced CFO who works with a large portfolio of clients across the United States. In addition to her managerial and financial skills, Shelley is a natural leader and excels in working collaboratively with senior executives, operational and financial staff, business partners, and other stakeholders. Her approach is to understand the big picture and create solutions to align financial and operational objectives.
In her free time, Shelley is practicing ball room dancing. As a competitive dancer, Shelley has won first place in several high stakes dance competitions. As a dancer, a CFO and most importantly a mom of four and a grandma of three, Shelley keeps a very busy schedule!
Sam Robin, Director of Sales and Marketing
As Director of Sales and Marketing, Sam is responsible for overseeing all sales and marketing activities. He is involved in crafting the agency's promotional and advertising strategies, developing and managing sales campaigns, and leading the sales team. He also plays a major role in marketing research and analysis, working to identify trends, target markets, and understand customer needs.
Sam received his bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley, and a Master’s degree from UC Irvine, and spent almost a decade as a public high school teacher in Orange County before moving into the marketing world.
In his free time, Sam enjoys reading, training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and spending time with his wife and four children.
